Ghost Hunt @ Homewood Library

Join authors and paranormal investigators, Kim Johnston and Shane Busby, on a night time investigation of the haunted Homewood Library. Shane and Kim will be bringing their team of investigators as well as their specialized equipment and conducting a real paranormal investigation with their guests for a second time! The first round of investigations in February yielded lots of evidence, chills and thrills! Click here to see some of the footage! Before this building was a library, it was the Church of Christ. Before that, an old abandoned farm house sat on the land for many years. Library employees have long talked about the numerous strange events that have happened here over the decades from construction workers being scared away from the premises during remodeling to voices and laughter being heard at night when no one else is around. It is not uncommon to have books fly off the shelves here even during the day. Homewood Library's haunting has been written about several times on AL.com and is included in Alan Brown's Stories of the Haunted South. We will be using FLIR thermal cameras, spirit boxes, EMF meters, voice recorders, night vision cameras, REM pods, laser grids and motion sensors to detect paranormal activity. This is a rare opportunity to investigate one of Birmingham's most well known ghost stories. A large portion of the proceeds will be donated to the library so this is fun for a good cause! Guests are encouraged to bring voice recorders, cameras and flashlights. Ages 12 and up please. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited to ensure all in attendance will be in on the action. Guests will receive an email with a waiver and further instructions at least 1 week prior to the event.

Heritage Hall Museum and Library Ghost Hunt

Join authors and paranormal investigators, Kim Johnston and Shane Busby, on a night time investigation of the Heritage Hall Museum and Talladega Public Library located in historic and haunted downtown Talladega! We will be turning the building lights off and our flashlights on as we attempt to make contact with the spirits that haunt the grounds. Shane and Kim will be bringing their team of investigators as well as their specialized equipment and conducting a real paranormal investigation with their guests. The 2 story Heritage Hall museum was built in 1906 and was the original Talladega Library. Today it houses fine art and collections of artifacts from the area's past. The present day Public Library next door is where the ghost of a woman has been seen roaming the halls. A large portion of the proceeds will be donated to both locations so this is fun for a great cause! Guests are encouraged to bring voice recorders, cameras and flashlights. Ages 12 and up please. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited to ensure all in attendance will be in on the action. Grab tickets at the link below:

Ghost Hunt @ Comer Museum

Join authors and paranormal investigators, Kim Johnston and Shane Busby, on a night time investigation of the Comer Museum & Arts Center in downtown Sylacauga. We will be turning the museum lights off and our flashlights on! Shane and Kim will be bringing their team of investigators as well as their specialized equipment and conducting a real paranormal investigation with their guests. This 3 story museum houses collections of Native American artifacts from local dig sites, Civil War artifacts as well as other wartime memorabilia, the Hodges Meteorite and Avondale Mills artifacts just to name a few of the interesting highlights. In addition, team member and haunted collector, Kevin Cain, will be bringing a few of his haunted dolls to the museum! There is a popular theory in the paranormal community that items such as those housed at the museum can have spirits attached to them or hold onto the energy of their former owners. We had incredible results last year at this location! Click here to see some of our video footage with the museum's very own haunted doll, Harriett. We will be using spirit boxes, EMF meters, voice recorders, night vision cameras, REM pods, laser grids and motion sensors to detect paranormal activity. It will surely be another fascinating investigation! Comer Museum was the MOST SURPRISING investigation we had last year, hands down! It will not disappoint! The proceeds of the ticket sales will go to benefit the Comer Museum so this is fun for a good cause! Guests are encouraged to bring voice recorders, cameras and flashlights. Ages 12 and up please. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited to ensure all in attendance will be in on the action. This is event is 100% wheelchair accessible for our disabled friends.

Overnight Ghost Hunt @ Thomas House Hotel

Overnight Ghost Hunt @ Thomas House Hotel

A series of eerie and gruesome events plagued a rural, early 1970s Alabama town and sent many to their graves. The events were so mysterious they even attracted the attention of Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Harper Lee, who ended up spending years researching the cases. The tragedy and its key players are long gone, but the sinister residue left behind still lingers in Rockford, Alabama, almost fifty years later. Veteran paranormal investigator and Southern hauntings author Kim Johnston investigated the case extensively, and captured disembodied voices, EVPs, MEL responses, and a host of other paranormal evidence. Why is the place so active today? Do people have unfinished business, or perhaps records to set straight? What really happened in Rockford?

Ghost Hunt @ Kymulga Mill & Covered Bridge

Join authors and paranormal investigators, Kim Johnston and Shane Busby, on a night time investigation of the historic and haunted Kymulga Grist Mill & Covered Bridge in Childersburg, AL on November 14th, 2015. Shane and Kim will be bringing their team of investigators as well as their specialized equipment and conducting a real paranormal investigation with their guests. Before this place was known for its grist mill, the area was part of a Native American village. There is a long history of ghosts making their presence known on the premises. There's been footsteps heard and chains rattled inside the old grist mill where a slave was hung to his death out a window. At the covered bridge, there's been images of shadows and faces appearing in photos that do not belong to anyone living. The apparition of a young woman has been seen crossing the bridge with her headless cow as well. We will investigate inside the grist mill, on the covered bridge and along the wooded hiking trail on our quest to find the spirits who haunt this place. We will be using FLIR thermal cameras, spirit boxes, EMF meters, voice recorders, night vision cameras, REM pods, laser grids and motion sensors to detect paranormal activity. It will surely be a night to remember! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to help preserve this wonderful part of Childersburg's history so this is fun for a good cause! Grab tickets now!
