Join authors and paranormal investigators, Kim Johnston and Shane Busby, on a night time investigation of the Comer Museum & Arts Center in downtown Sylacauga on October 16th, 2015. We will be turning the museum lights off and our flashlights on! Shane and Kim will be bringing their team of investigators as well as their specialized equipment and conducting a real paranormal investigation with their guests. This 3 story museum houses collections of Native American artifacts from local dig sites, Civil War artifacts as well as other wartime memorabilia, the Hodges Meteorite and Avondale Mills artifacts just to name a few of the interesting highlights. In addition, team member and haunted collector, Kevin Cain, will be bringing a few of his haunted dolls to the museum! There is a popular theory in the paranormal community that items such as those housed at the museum can have spirits attached to them or hold onto the energy of their former owners. We will be testing this theory and using a spirit box device to see if any spirit voices come through for all of us to hear real time. We will also be using EMF meters, voice recorders, night vision cameras, REM pods, laser grids and motion sensors to detect paranormal activity. It will surely be a night to remember! The proceeds of the ticket sales will go to benefit the Comer Museum so this is fun for a good cause! Guests are encouraged to bring voice recorders, cameras and flashlights. Ages 12 and up please. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited to ensure all in attendance will be in on the action.
